Risper Marangu
Director, Cornerstone Educational Centre – Chuka
Bold Question: What if peri-urban parents accessed high-quality education options?
Path to Metis: Risper owes a lot of her success to the teachers she came across in her school life. It was not a hard decision for her to choose to train as a teacher at the University of Nairobi.
She enjoys working with young learners. Besides teaching at State House Secondary School, she has had the privilege of working with several schools in Kenya and Tanzania. She has served as the School Director at Kisima Christian School in Embakasi, Nairobi, and School Administrator at Almasi International Christian School in Machakos County
Risper believes that all children can and should have access to options for high-quality education. An education that leaves none behind, and one that prepares learners at all levels for lifelong learning.
Her dream is to provide high-quality, world-class learning institutions for families in Peri-urban Kenya and emerging economic frontiers
