Path to Metis: Victor Odhiambo is a social entrepreneur committed to supporting youth in urban slums and rural communities in Kenya through leadership, entrepreneurship and mentorship. With over eight 8 years in community development, Victor has worked to design and implement various projects for local and international organizations aimed at creating sustainable communities.
He is the Co-Founder and Executive of Director Garden of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that creates sustainable social and economic opportunities for youth, women and children in urban slums and rural communities. Since founding Garden of Hope Foundation in 2014, the organization has impacted the lives of over 20,000 people in 5 five counties in Kenya.
In 2018, Victor was recognized for his work by her majesty the Queen through the Queens Young Leaders program. Victor is an Acumen 2019 East Africa Fellow, a Young African Leaders Initiative 2019 Fellow and One Young World Ambassador. He has won the Pan African Award for Entrepreneurship in Education for his initiative that seeks to integrate entrepreneurship informal education.
