Hi, I’m Naftaly!

I started my entrepreneurial journey at the age of 12, buying kerosene from the market in a 5-litre container and reselling it in smaller quantities from my mum's house.

I am a strong believer in the power of combining entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and contextualized solutions to solve problems. Metis' focus on supporting local innovators in education caught my attention. I knew I had a role to play in helping entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who are building innovations that truly reimagine teaching and learning.

At Metis, I equip leaders, connect the education ecosystem, and support our programs team. I bring my experience and passion as an entrepreneur to support Kenyan education leaders who are building contextualized solutions for a world where all learners thrive.

Other than education innovation, I also enjoy learning about and discussing topics such as agriculture, economics, policies, finance, and technology."
